The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Bancolombia SA (BVC: BIC ), which rose 4.43% or 2,020.00 points to trade at 47,600.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA Preferred (BVC: SIS_p ) added 4.36% or 1,440.00 points to end at 34,460.00 and Bancolombia Pf (BVC: BIC_p1 ) was up 4.14% or 1,760.00 points to 44,300.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Grupo Nutresa SA (BVC: NCH ), which fell 4.10% or 4,920.00 points to trade at 114,980.00 at the close. Cementos Argos Pf (BVC: CCB_p ) declined 1.79% or 200.00 points to end at 10,960.00 and Banco De Bogota SA (BVC: BBO ) was down 0.90% or 280.00 points to 30,900.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

Shares in Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA Preferred (BVC: SIS_p ) rose to 5-year highs; up 4.36% or 1,440.00 to 34,460.00. Shares in Bancolombia Pf (BVC: BIC_p1 ) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 4.14% or 1,760.00 to 44,300.00.

US coffee C for May delivery was down 0.46% or 1.80 to $388.10 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in May fell 9.27% or 952.00 to hit $9,315.00 , while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.20% or 5.99 to trade at $2,950.11 a troy ounce.

USD/COP was up 0.33% to 4,088.50, while BRL/COP fell 0.07% to 713.71.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 106.55.
