Finland stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Helsinki 25 up 0.30%

Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Consumer Services , Financials and Industrials sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 rose 0.30%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Nordea Bank Abp (HE: NDAFI ), which rose 2.01% or 0.25 points to trade at 12.43 at the close. Meanwhile, KONE Oyj (HE: KNEBV ) added 1.50% or 0.82 points to end at 55.32 and Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE: WRT1V ) was up 1.49% or 0.27 points to 18.39 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Qt Group Oyj (HE: QTCOM ), which fell 2.46% or 2.25 points to trade at 89.05 at the close. Konecranes ABP (HE: KCRA ) declined 1.41% or 1.00 points to end at 70.00 and Cargotec Oyj (HE: CGCBV ) was down 1.35% or 0.65 points to 47.30.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 86 to 73 and 29 ended unchanged.

Shares in Nordea Bank Abp (HE: NDAFI ) rose to all time highs; gaining 2.01% or 0.25 to 12.43. Shares in KONE Oyj (HE: KNEBV ) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 1.50% or 0.82 to 55.32.

Brent oil for April delivery was down 1.91% or 1.46 to $75.02 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in April fell 2.03% or 1.47 to hit $71.01 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.18% or 5.41 to trade at $2,950.69 a troy ounce.

EUR/USD was unchanged 0.42% to 1.05, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.24% to 0.83.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.29% at 106.58.
