Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 0.45%
Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Insurance , Financials and Banking sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.45%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Camtek Ltd (TASE: CAMT ), which rose 3.73% or 1,020.00 points to trade at 28,390.00 at the close. Meanwhile, OPC Energy Ltd (TASE: OPCE ) added 3.42% or 109.00 points to end at 3,299.00 and Harel (TASE: HARL ) was up 3.34% or 193.00 points to 5,973.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were NICE Ltd (TASE: NICE ), which fell 3.78% or 2,110.00 points to trade at 53,700.00 at the close. ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE: ICL ) declined 3.70% or 83.00 points to end at 2,163.00 and Israel Corp (TASE: ILCO ) was down 3.43% or 3,780.00 points to 106,540.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 232 to 221 and 84 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.20% or 0.14 to $68.79 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.39% or 0.28 to hit $72.22 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.31% or 9.16 to trade at $2,927.96 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.66% to 3.56, while EUR/ILS fell 0.74% to 3.74.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 106.30.
