Italy stocks higher at close of trade; Investing.com Italy 40 up 0.15%
Investing.com – Italy stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Travel & Leisure , Utilities and Telecoms sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Milan, the Investing.com Italy 40 added 0.15%.
The best performers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were Nexi SpA (BIT: NEXII ), which rose 9.00% or 0.42 points to trade at 5.06 at the close. Meanwhile, Hera (BIT: HRA ) added 1.68% or 0.06 points to end at 3.74 and Ferrari NV (BIT: RACE ) was up 1.15% or 5.10 points to 450.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saipem SpA (BIT: SPMI ), which fell 2.09% or 0.05 points to trade at 2.20 at the close. STMicroelectronics (BIT: STMMI ) declined 1.80% or 0.44 points to end at 23.72 and Eni SpA (BIT: ENI ) was down 1.56% or 0.22 points to 13.85.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Milan Stock Exchange by 315 to 195 and 49 ended unchanged.
Shares in Hera (BIT: HRA ) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 1.68% or 0.06 to 3.74.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.90% or 0.63 to $69.72 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 1.10% or 0.81 to hit $72.76 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 1.25% or 36.21 to trade at $2,859.69 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.08% to 1.04, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.15% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 107.24.
