Finland stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Helsinki 25 down 1.06%
Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Technology , Healthcare and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 1.06% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Fortum Oyj (HE: FORTUM ), which rose 0.88% or 0.14 points to trade at 15.42 at the close. Meanwhile, Kesko Oyj (HE: KESKOB ) added 0.78% or 0.14 points to end at 18.66 and Sampo Oyj A (HE: SAMPO ) was up 0.46% or 0.04 points to 8.81 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were TietoEVRY Corp (HE: TIETO ), which fell 7.17% or 1.30 points to trade at 16.82 at the close. Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE: WRT1V ) declined 5.96% or 1.12 points to end at 17.61 and Metso Oyj (HE: METSO ) was down 3.29% or 0.36 points to 10.58.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 113 to 63 and 12 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for June delivery was up 1.06% or 0.77 to $73.16 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in May rose 1.14% or 0.79 to hit $69.79 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.10% or 2.99 to trade at $3,051.31 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.04% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.31% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 104.00.
