Investing.com – Netherlands stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Technology , Industrials and Financials sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Amsterdam, the AEX added 2.82%.

The best performers of the session on the AEX were Adyen NV (AS: ADYEN ), which rose 6.03% or 74.40 points to trade at 1,308.20 at the close. Meanwhile, ASR Nederland NV (AS: ASRNL ) added 4.65% or 2.21 points to end at 49.69 and Aegon Ltd (AS: AEGN ) was up 4.36% or 0.22 points to 5.22 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Randstad NV (AS: RAND ), which rose 0.43% or 0.14 points to trade at 32.64 at the close. Universal Music Group NV (AS: UMG ) added 0.78% or 0.18 points to end at 23.22 and BE Semiconductor Industries NV (AS: BESI ) was up 1.15% or 0.98 points to 85.84.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange by 93 to 9 and 4 ended unchanged.

The AEX Volatility , which measures the implied volatility of AEX options, was unchanged 0.00% to 21.09.

Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.91% or 0.55 to $61.25 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.30% or 0.19 to hit $64.40 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.26% or 37.50 to trade at $3,011.10 a troy ounce.

EUR/USD was unchanged 0.45% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP rose 0.59% to 0.85.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 103.06.
