Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Basic Materials , Telecoms and Financials sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.37%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST: SBBb ), which rose 6.53% or 0.24 points to trade at 3.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Boliden AB (ST: BOL ) added 3.71% or 10.30 points to end at 288.30 and Sandvik AB (ST: SAND ) was up 2.98% or 5.55 points to 191.85 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Getinge AB ser. B (ST: GETIb ), which fell 5.49% or 10.70 points to trade at 183.50 at the close. ABB Ltd (ST: ABB ) declined 3.15% or 15.70 points to end at 482.90 and Hexagon AB ser. B (ST: HEXAb ) was down 0.97% or 0.90 points to 87.70.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 413 to 378 and 56 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for June delivery was up 2.95% or 1.84 to $64.25 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 2.54% or 1.68 to hit $67.94 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.05% or 1.84 to trade at $3,427.14 a troy ounce.

EUR/SEK was down 0.45% to 10.89, while USD/SEK unchanged 0.02% to 9.51.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.36% at 98.40.
