Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 4.32%

Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Healthcare , Chemicals and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 4.32%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CSE: PNDORA ), which rose 1.87% or 17.20 points to trade at 938.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Tryg A/S (CSE: TRYG ) added 1.25% or 1.90 points to end at 153.40 and Coloplast A/S (CSE: COLOb ) was up 0.54% or 3.80 points to 706.20 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE: NOVOb ), which fell 7.42% or 31.30 points to trade at 390.00 at the close. Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE: ZELA ) declined 6.60% or 28.00 points to end at 396.50 and Oersted AS (CSE: ORSTED ) was down 4.75% or 13.60 points to 273.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 85 to 44 and 18 ended unchanged.

Shares in Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE: NOVOb ) fell to 52-week lows; down 7.42% or 31.30 to 390.00. Shares in Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE: ZELA ) fell to 52-week lows; falling 6.60% or 28.00 to 396.50.

Crude oil for June delivery was up 2.29% or 1.43 to $63.84 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 1.90% or 1.26 to hit $67.52 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.21% or 7.24 to trade at $3,432.54 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.29% to 6.50, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.21% at 98.25.
