Morocco stocks lower at close of trade; Moroccan All Shares down 0.37%

Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Utilities , Banking and Mining sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares lost 0.37%.

The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Societe des Boissons du Maroc SA (CSE: SBM ), which rose 5.24% or 105.00 points to trade at 2,110.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Atlanta (CSE: ATL ) added 2.23% or 2.90 points to end at 133.00 and Med Paper (CSE: MDP ) was up 2.05% or 0.46 points to 22.93 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Douja Prom Addoha (CSE: ADH ), which fell 4.88% or 1.95 points to trade at 38.05 at the close. Hps (CSE: HPS ) declined 4.22% or 25.10 points to end at 569.90 and Nationale d’Electrolyse et de Petrochimie Ste SA (CSE: SNP ) was down 3.25% or 23.70 points to 705.30.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 31 to 19 and 4 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for June delivery was up 2.23% or 1.39 to $63.80 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 1.78% or 1.18 to hit $67.44 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.37% or 12.81 to trade at $3,438.11 a troy ounce.

EUR/MAD was up 0.50% to 10.59, while USD/MAD fell 0.63% to 9.22.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.22% at 98.25.
