Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 0.28%
Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Communication , Technology and Biomed sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.28%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE: TEVA ), which rose 5.89% or 288.00 points to trade at 5,180.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE: ENOG ) added 4.02% or 165.00 points to end at 4,265.00 and Energix (TASE: ENRG ) was up 3.88% or 41.00 points to 1,097.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE: ASHG ), which fell 4.60% or 266.00 points to trade at 5,514.00 at the close. Shikun & Binui (TASE: SKBN ) declined 4.36% or 49.00 points to end at 1,074.00 and Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE: ESLT ) was down 4.05% or 5,880.00 points to 139,200.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 236 to 196 and 106 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 1.38% or 0.86 to $63.27 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 1.09% or 0.72 to hit $66.98 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.38% or 13.16 to trade at $3,438.46 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.22% to 3.70, while EUR/ILS fell 0.53% to 4.25.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 98.30.
