Sweden stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Stockholm 30 up 1.19%
Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Healthcare , Basic Materials and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 1.19%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST: NIBEb ), which rose 4.26% or 1.60 points to trade at 38.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Hexagon AB ser. B (ST: HEXAb ) added 3.78% or 3.30 points to end at 91.10 and Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST: KINVb ) was up 3.37% or 2.50 points to 76.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were SAAB AB ser. B (ST: SAABb ), which fell 3.71% or 16.30 points to trade at 421.90 at the close. Telia Company AB (ST: TELIA ) declined 2.06% or 0.74 points to end at 35.21 and Essity AB B (ST: ESSITYb ) was down 1.25% or 3.60 points to 284.40.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 539 to 220 and 67 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 2.87% or 1.83 to $61.84 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 2.62% or 1.77 to hit $65.67 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 3.67% or 125.65 to trade at $3,293.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.40% to 10.96, while USD/SEK rose 1.01% to 9.66.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.73% at 99.41.
