Investing.com – Netherlands stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Basic Materials , Industrials and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Amsterdam, the AEX added 0.10%.

The best performers of the session on the AEX were IMCD NV (AS: IMCD ), which rose 7.58% or 8.45 points to trade at 120.00 at the close. Meanwhile, BE Semiconductor Industries NV (AS: BESI ) added 3.72% or 3.48 points to end at 97.04 and ASM International NV (AS: ASMI ) was up 2.54% or 10.60 points to 427.80 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Koninklijke KPN NV (AS: KPN ), which fell 2.26% or 0.09 points to trade at 3.93 at the close. Unilever PLC (AS: ULVR ) declined 2.14% or 1.20 points to end at 54.94 and Heineken (AS: HEIN ) was down 1.06% or 0.82 points to 76.78.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange by 71 to 25 and 12 ended unchanged.

The AEX Volatility , which measures the implied volatility of AEX options, was unchanged 0.00% to 21.09.

Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.22% or 0.14 to $62.93 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.26% or 0.17 to hit $66.72 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 1.65% or 55.15 to trade at $3,293.45 a troy ounce.

EUR/USD was unchanged 0.03% to 1.14, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.07% to 0.85.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 99.25.
