Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.57%
Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Real Estate , Healthcare and Chemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.57%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Rockwool AS B (CSE: ROCKb ), which rose 2.64% or 7.00 points to trade at 287.00 at the close. Meanwhile, NKT Holding (CSE: NKT ) added 1.84% or 9.50 points to end at 525.50 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE: DANSKE ) was up 1.65% or 3.60 points to 221.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Oersted AS (CSE: ORSTED ), which fell 2.60% or 6.90 points to trade at 258.10 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE: NOVOb ) declined 1.61% or 6.60 points to end at 403.50 and Tryg A/S (CSE: TRYG ) was down 1.10% or 1.70 points to 152.40.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 71 to 61 and 12 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.10% or 0.06 to $62.85 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.06% or 0.04 to hit $66.59 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 1.95% or 65.36 to trade at $3,283.24 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.18% to 6.57, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.47.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.23% at 99.39.
