Morocco stocks higher at close of trade; Moroccan All Shares up 0.12%

Investing.com – Morocco stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Banking , Beverage and Transport sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares rose 0.12%.

The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Realis. Mecaniques (CSE: SRM ), which rose 9.78% or 43.55 points to trade at 489.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Sanlam Maroc SA (CSE: SAH ) added 9.59% or 182.00 points to end at 2,080.00 and Ennakl Automobiles (CSE: NKL ) was up 4.41% or 1.50 points to 35.50 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were IB Maroc Com SA (CSE: IBC ), which fell 5.56% or 2.22 points to trade at 37.71 at the close. Total Maroc SA (CSE: TMA ) declined 3.67% or 69.00 points to end at 1,811.00 and Maghreb Oxygene (CSE: MOX ) was down 3.67% or 16.80 points to 441.10.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 27 to 26 and 7 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for June delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $62.79 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.05% or 0.03 to hit $66.52 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 1.97% or 65.95 to trade at $3,282.65 a troy ounce.

EUR/MAD was down 0.19% to 10.53, while USD/MAD rose 0.08% to 9.28.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.27% at 99.43.
