Norway stocks higher at close of trade; Oslo OBX up 0.21%
Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Healthcare Equipment & Services , Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences and Utilities sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX rose 0.21%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Yara International ASA (OL: YAR ), which rose 3.74% or 12.20 points to trade at 338.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Hoegh Autoliners ASA (OL: HAUTO ) added 3.44% or 2.66 points to end at 79.91 and Nel ASA (OL: NEL ) was up 3.23% or 0.08 points to 2.43 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were SalMar ASA (OL: SALM ), which fell 5.13% or 27.00 points to trade at 499.00 at the close. Mowi ASA (OL: MOWI ) declined 4.20% or 8.10 points to end at 184.80 and Equinor ASA (OL: EQNR ) was down 0.71% or 1.70 points to 237.50.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 182 to 99 and 19 ended unchanged.
Shares in Equinor ASA (OL: EQNR ) fell to 3-years lows; down 0.71% or 1.70 to 237.50.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.57% or 0.36 to $62.43 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.57% or 0.38 to hit $66.17 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 1.79% or 60.09 to trade at $3,288.51 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was unchanged 0.00% to 11.83, while USD/NOK rose 0.18% to 10.41.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.23% at 99.39.
