Colombia stocks higher at close of trade; COLCAP up 0.97%

Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Industrials , Services and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.97%.

The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (BVC: BVC ), which rose 5.16% or 620.00 points to trade at 12,640.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (BVC: CFV ) added 2.35% or 380.00 points to end at 16,520.00 and Grupo Nutresa SA (BVC: NCH ) was up 2.27% or 2,760.00 points to 124,160.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Ecopetrol SA (BVC: ECO ), which fell 2.24% or 40.00 points to trade at 1,745.00 at the close. Grupo Bolivar SA (BVC: SCA ) declined 0.69% or 500.00 points to end at 71,500.00 and Interconnection Electric SA ESP (BVC: ISA ) was down 0.69% or 140.00 points to 20,160.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

US coffee C for July delivery was down 0.13% or 0.50 to $399.30 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in July fell 0.36% or 32.00 to hit $8,859.00 , while the June Gold Futures contract fell 1.03% or 34.30 to trade at $3,299.30 a troy ounce.

USD/COP was up 0.28% to 4,242.69, while BRL/COP rose 0.28% to 748.07.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.42% at 99.44.
