Sweden stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Stockholm 30 up 1.17%

Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Industrials , Basic Materials and Financials sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 1.17%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Sinch AB (ST: SINCH ), which rose 4.84% or 1.09 points to trade at 23.59 at the close. Meanwhile, NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST: NIBEb ) added 4.66% or 1.90 points to end at 42.70 and ABB Ltd (ST: ABB ) was up 3.66% or 18.60 points to 526.20 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were AstraZeneca PLC (ST: AZN ), which fell 1.36% or 19.00 points to trade at 1,379.00 at the close. Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST: ERICb ) declined 0.54% or 0.44 points to end at 80.94 and Hexagon AB ser. B (ST: HEXAb ) was down 0.36% or 0.30 points to 93.30.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 532 to 244 and 60 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for June delivery was down 1.79% or 1.06 to $58.18 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.50% or 0.93 to hit $61.20 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.44% or 14.04 to trade at $3,236.24 a troy ounce.

EUR/SEK was down 0.72% to 10.90, while USD/SEK fell 1.08% to 9.62.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.46% at 99.60.
