Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrials , Services and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 2.70% to hit a new 5-year high.

The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Etb (BVC: ETB ), which rose 5.88% or 3.00 points to trade at 54.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Interconnection Electric SA ESP (BVC: ISA ) added 2.02% or 440.00 points to end at 22,240.00 and Organizacion Terpel SA (BVC: TPL ) was up 1.62% or 180.00 points to 11,280.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Mineros SA (BVC: MAS ), which fell 3.15% or 220.00 points to trade at 6,770.00 at the close. Canacol Energy Ltd (BVC: CNE ) declined 3.01% or 280.00 points to end at 9,020.00 and Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (BVC: BVC ) was down 2.44% or 300.00 points to 12,000.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

US coffee C for July delivery was up 0.44% or 1.65 to $374.60 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in July rose 9.19% or 835.00 to hit $9,925.00 , while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.82% or 26.50 to trade at $3,254.50 a troy ounce.

USD/COP was unchanged 0.00% to 4,216.50, while BRL/COP fell 0.06% to 752.07.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.78% at 100.81.
