Finland stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Helsinki 25 up 0.05%
Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Consumer Services , Utilities and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 gained 0.05% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Konecranes ABP (HE: KCRA ), which rose 1.92% or 1.25 points to trade at 66.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Fortum Oyj (HE: FORTUM ) added 0.90% or 0.14 points to end at 15.22 and Kemira Oyj (HE: KEMIRA ) was up 0.72% or 0.14 points to 19.48 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Huhtamaki Oyj (HE: HUH1V ), which fell 1.91% or 0.66 points to trade at 33.92 at the close. Stora Enso Oyj R (HE: STERV ) declined 1.40% or 0.13 points to end at 8.86 and Mandatum Oyj (HE: MANTA ) was down 1.25% or 0.07 points to 5.22.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 97 to 75 and 15 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for July delivery was up 0.69% or 0.45 to $65.86 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in July rose 0.87% or 0.54 to hit $62.51 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.49% or 47.36 to trade at $3,234.66 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.64% to 1.12, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.05% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.67% at 100.27.
