Investing.com – Turkey stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Banking , Electricity and Holdings & Investments sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 rose 1.33%.

The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Enerya Enerji AS (IS: ENERY ), which rose 9.46% or 0.44 points to trade at 5.09 at the close. Meanwhile, Ahlatci Dogal Gaz Dagitim Enerji ve Yatirim AS (IS: AHGAZ ) added 9.24% or 2.20 points to end at 26.00 and Margun Enerji Uretim Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (IS: MAGEN ) was up 8.33% or 2.54 points to 33.04 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Celebi Hava Servisi AS (IS: CLEBI ), which fell 9.98% or 222.00 points to trade at 2,002.00 at the close. Oba Makarnacilik Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (IS: OBAMS ) declined 9.07% or 7.10 points to end at 71.20 and Batisoke Soke Cimento Sanayi TAS (IS: BSOKE ) was down 8.61% or 1.78 points to 18.90.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

Shares in Enerya Enerji AS (IS: ENERY ) rose to all time highs; rising 9.46% or 0.44 to 5.09. Shares in Ahlatci Dogal Gaz Dagitim Enerji ve Yatirim AS (IS: AHGAZ ) rose to all time highs; gaining 9.24% or 2.20 to 26.00. Shares in Margun Enerji Uretim Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (IS: MAGEN ) rose to all time highs; up 8.33% or 2.54 to 33.04.

Gold Futures for June delivery was up 1.54% or 49.06 to $3,236.36 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in July rose 0.06% or 0.04 to hit $62.01 a barrel, while the July Brent oil contract fell 0.02% or 0.01 to trade at $65.40 a barrel.

USD/TRY was unchanged 0.01% to 38.85, while EUR/TRY rose 0.90% to 43.77.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.81% at 100.13.
