Morocco stocks higher at close of trade; Moroccan All Shares up 0.56%
Investing.com – Morocco stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Banking , Beverage and Transport sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca , the Moroccan All Shares added 0.56%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Travaux Generaux De Construction De Casablanca S.A (CSE: TGC ), which rose 6.13% or 49.00 points to trade at 849.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Mutandis SCA (CSE: MUT ) added 3.50% or 9.90 points to end at 293.00 and Ste de Travaux de Realisation d’Ouvrages et de Constuction Industielle SA (CSE: STR ) was up 3.42% or 1.85 points to 55.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were IB Maroc Com SA (CSE: IBC ), which fell 5.92% or 2.36 points to trade at 37.52 at the close. Med Paper (CSE: MDP ) declined 4.01% or 0.91 points to end at 21.78 and Cartier Saada (CSE: CRS ) was down 2.44% or 0.79 points to 31.61.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 29 to 19 and 10 ended unchanged.
Shares in Travaux Generaux De Construction De Casablanca S.A (CSE: TGC ) rose to all time highs; up 6.13% or 49.00 to 849.00.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.06% or 0.04 to $61.93 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.15% or 0.10 to hit $65.31 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.56% or 49.64 to trade at $3,236.94 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.25% to 10.42, while USD/MAD fell 0.51% to 9.26.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.77% at 100.17.
