Norway stocks lower at close of trade; Oslo OBX down 0.30%

Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Media , Transport and Diversified Financials sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.30%.

The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL: NAS ), which rose 2.93% or 0.40 points to trade at 14.05 at the close. Meanwhile, Nel ASA (OL: NEL ) added 2.45% or 0.06 points to end at 2.42 and Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (OL: KOG ) was up 1.45% or 24.50 points to 1,712.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Var Energi ASA (OL: VAR ), which fell 2.81% or 0.84 points to trade at 29.10 at the close. TGS NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL: TGS ) declined 2.78% or 2.35 points to end at 82.30 and Nordic Semiconductor ASA (OL: NOD ) was down 2.42% or 3.00 points to 120.80.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 190 to 92 and 17 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.32% or 0.20 to $61.77 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.34% or 0.22 to hit $65.19 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.55% or 49.49 to trade at $3,236.79 a troy ounce.

EUR/NOK was up 0.31% to 11.59, while USD/NOK fell 0.59% to 10.30.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.80% at 100.14.
