Saudi Arabia stocks lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 0.29%

Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Media & Publishing , Insurance and Retail sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.29%.

The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Allied Cooperative Insurance Group SJSC (TADAWUL: 8150 ), which rose 11.91% or 1.39 points to trade at 13.08 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Darb Investment Co (TADAWUL: 4130 ) added 6.74% or 0.25 points to end at 3.96 and Saudi Printing & Packaging Company (TADAWUL: 4270 ) was up 5.14% or 0.58 points to 11.86 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Middle East Specialized Cables Co (TADAWUL: 2370 ), which fell 5.83% or 1.95 points to trade at 31.50 at the close. National Gas & Industrialization Co (TADAWUL: 2080 ) declined 4.71% or 3.80 points to end at 76.80 and United Electronics Company (TADAWUL: 4003 ) was down 4.66% or 4.20 points to 85.90.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 239 to 77 and 22 ended unchanged.

Shares in National Gas & Industrialization Co (TADAWUL: 2080 ) fell to 52-week lows; down 4.71% or 3.80 to 76.80.

Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.23% or 0.14 to $61.83 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.24% or 0.16 to hit $65.25 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.69% or 53.79 to trade at $3,241.09 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.89% to 4.22, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.83% at 100.11.
