Sweden stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Stockholm 30 up 0.56%

Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Telecoms , Basic Materials and Financials sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.56% to hit a new 1-month high.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST: SCAb ), which rose 2.29% or 3.00 points to trade at 133.90 at the close. Meanwhile, NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST: NIBEb ) added 2.26% or 0.90 points to end at 42.10 and Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST: KINVb ) was up 2.03% or 1.70 points to 83.50 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST: HMb ), which fell 1.35% or 2.00 points to trade at 142.10 at the close. SAAB AB ser. B (ST: SAABb ) declined 1.09% or 5.00 points to end at 454.00 and Sinch AB (ST: SINCH ) was down 0.80% or 0.20 points to 24.73.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 407 to 347 and 72 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.60% or 0.37 to $61.77 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.63% or 0.41 to hit $65.13 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.58% or 51.09 to trade at $3,284.59 a troy ounce.

EUR/SEK was up 0.06% to 10.88, while USD/SEK fell 0.07% to 9.67.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.19% at 100.10.
