Italy stocks higher at close of trade; Investing.com Italy 40 up 0.88%
Investing.com – Italy stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrials , Utilities and Telecoms sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Milan, the Investing.com Italy 40 gained 0.88%.
The best performers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were A2A SpA (BIT: A2 ), which rose 2.40% or 0.05 points to trade at 2.27 at the close. Meanwhile, Pirelli & C SPA (BIT: PIRC ) added 2.21% or 0.13 points to end at 6.11 and Leonardo SpA (BIT: LDOF ) was up 2.20% or 1.10 points to 51.04 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena SpA (BIT: BMPS ), which fell 0.87% or 0.07 points to trade at 7.43 at the close. Buzzi Unicem (BIT: BZU ) declined 0.62% or 0.30 points to end at 48.04 and DiaSorin SpA (BIT: DIAS ) was down 0.36% or 0.34 points to 93.62.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Milan Stock Exchange by 375 to 196 and 45 ended unchanged.
Shares in Leonardo SpA (BIT: LDOF ) rose to all time highs; up 2.20% or 1.10 to 51.04.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.66% or 0.41 to $61.73 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.70% or 0.46 to hit $65.08 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.56% or 50.36 to trade at $3,283.86 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.12% to 1.13, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.06% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.18% at 100.11.
