Poland stocks higher at close of trade; WIG30 up 0.30%
Investing.com – Poland stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Chemicals , Construction and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Warsaw, the WIG30 added 0.30%.
The best performers of the session on the WIG30 were Grupa Azoty SA (WA: ATTP ), which rose 2.11% or 0.50 points to trade at 24.18 at the close. Meanwhile, Orange Polska SA (WA: OPL ) added 2.02% or 0.20 points to end at 9.89 and Pepco Group Nv (WA: PCOP ) was up 1.72% or 0.32 points to 18.61 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were CCC SA (WA: CCCP ), which fell 1.35% or 3.10 points to trade at 226.70 at the close. Grupa KĘTY SA (WA: KTY ) declined 1.27% or 11.00 points to end at 852.00 and Rainbow Tours SA (WA: RBW ) was down 1.09% or 1.80 points to 163.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Warsaw Stock Exchange by 284 to 240 and 103 ended unchanged.
Shares in Orange Polska SA (WA: OPL ) rose to 5-year highs; rising 2.02% or 0.20 to 9.89.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.74% or 0.46 to $61.68 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.76% or 0.50 to hit $65.04 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.46% or 47.29 to trade at $3,280.79 a troy ounce.
EUR/PLN was down 0.14% to 4.24, while USD/PLN fell 0.26% to 3.77.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.16% at 100.13.
