Saudi Arabia stocks higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 0.29%

Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Real Estate Development , Agriculture & Food and Cement sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.29%.

The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were MBC Group CJSC (TADAWUL: 4072 ), which rose 6.01% or 2.55 points to trade at 45.00 at the close. Meanwhile, National Gypsum Company (TADAWUL: 2090 ) added 4.49% or 0.92 points to end at 21.42 and Zamil Industrial Investment Co (TADAWUL: 2240 ) was up 4.19% or 1.85 points to 46.05 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (TADAWUL: 7040 ), which fell 4.55% or 4.80 points to trade at 100.80 at the close. Saudia Dairy and Foodstuff .Co (TADAWUL: 2270 ) declined 2.66% or 7.80 points to end at 285.00 and CHUBB Arabia Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL: 8240 ) was down 2.53% or 0.95 points to 36.60.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 162 to 149 and 28 ended unchanged.

Shares in Saudia Dairy and Foodstuff .Co (TADAWUL: 2270 ) fell to 52-week lows; losing 2.66% or 7.80 to 285.00.

Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.35% or 0.22 to $61.92 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.43% or 0.28 to hit $65.26 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.46% or 14.99 to trade at $3,248.49 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.09% to 4.21, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.02% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 100.28.
