Colombia stocks higher at close of trade; COLCAP up 0.27%
Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrials , Services and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.27%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Organizacion Terpel SA (BVC: TPL ), which rose 2.00% or 240.00 points to trade at 12,240.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Cementos Argos SA (BVC: CCB ) added 1.72% or 180.00 points to end at 10,660.00 and Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (BVC: SIS ) was up 1.56% or 700.00 points to 45,500.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bancolombia Pf (BVC: BIC_p1 ), which fell 3.82% or 1,700.00 points to trade at 42,800.00 at the close. Bancolombia SA (BVC: BIC ) declined 2.84% or 1,500.00 points to end at 51,300.00 and Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA Pref (BVC: GAA_p ) was down 2.51% or 15.00 points to 583.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.
Shares in Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (BVC: SIS ) rose to 52-week highs; rising 1.56% or 700.00 to 45,500.00.
US coffee C for July delivery was down 1.53% or 5.75 to $368.95 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in July fell 0.57% or 63.00 to hit $10,911.00 , while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.82% or 58.80 to trade at $3,292.30 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.06% to 4,173.25, while BRL/COP rose 0.06% to 736.22.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.41% at 99.88.
