Italy stocks lower at close of trade; Investing.com Italy 40 down 0.01%
Investing.com – Italy stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas , Technology and Utilities sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Milan, the Investing.com Italy 40 fell 0.01%.
The best performers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were FinecoBank Banca Fineco SpA (BIT: FBK ), which rose 2.27% or 0.43 points to trade at 19.36 at the close. Meanwhile, Recordati (BIT: RECI ) added 1.84% or 0.95 points to end at 52.45 and Nexi SpA (BIT: NEXII ) was up 1.71% or 0.09 points to 5.34 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Davide Campari Milano SpA (BIT: CPRI ), which fell 2.02% or 0.12 points to trade at 5.71 at the close. Interpump Group (BIT: ITPG ) declined 1.61% or 0.56 points to end at 34.26 and Prysmian SpA (BIT: PRY ) was down 1.46% or 0.82 points to 55.22.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Milan Stock Exchange by 341 to 220 and 43 ended unchanged.
Shares in FinecoBank Banca Fineco SpA (BIT: FBK ) rose to all time highs; up 2.27% or 0.43 to 19.36.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.50% or 0.31 to $61.72 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.49% or 0.32 to hit $65.06 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.92% or 30.31 to trade at $3,314.91 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.58% to 1.14, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.06% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.68% at 99.29.
