Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.13%

Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Consumer Goods , Industrials and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.13% to hit a new 1-month high.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were ISS A/S (CSE: ISS ), which rose 3.20% or 5.40 points to trade at 173.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CSE: GMAB ) added 2.69% or 36.00 points to end at 1,375.00 and Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE: ZELA ) was up 1.94% or 8.20 points to 430.20 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Oersted AS (CSE: ORSTED ), which fell 5.65% or 15.90 points to trade at 265.70 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE: VWS ) declined 3.14% or 3.50 points to end at 107.80 and Ambu A/S (CSE: AMBUb ) was down 0.96% or 1.00 points to 103.30.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 63 to 56 and 27 ended unchanged.

Shares in ISS A/S (CSE: ISS ) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 3.20% or 5.40 to 173.90.

Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.42% or 0.26 to $61.77 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.44% or 0.29 to hit $65.09 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.93% or 30.39 to trade at $3,314.99 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.48% to 6.58, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.05% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.61% at 99.37.
