Morocco stocks lower at close of trade; Moroccan All Shares down 0.18%
Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Utilities , Banking and Mining sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca , the Moroccan All Shares fell 0.18%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Ste de Travaux de Realisation d’Ouvrages et de Constuction Industielle SA (CSE: STR ), which rose 9.97% or 5.55 points to trade at 61.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Taqa Morocco SA (CSE: TQM ) added 4.39% or 133.00 points to end at 3,164.00 and Marocaine pour le Commerce et l’Industrie Banque SA (CSE: BCI ) was up 2.73% or 15.00 points to 565.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Travaux Generaux De Construction De Casablanca S.A (CSE: TGC ), which fell 8.61% or 77.50 points to trade at 822.50 at the close. Maghreb Oxygene (CSE: MOX ) declined 5.21% or 23.30 points to end at 423.70 and Miniere Touissit (CSE: CMT ) was down 3.64% or 69.00 points to 1,825.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 28 to 24 and 11 ended unchanged.
Shares in Taqa Morocco SA (CSE: TQM ) rose to all time highs; up 4.39% or 133.00 to 3,164.00.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.42% or 0.26 to $61.77 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.41% or 0.27 to hit $65.11 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.90% or 29.70 to trade at $3,314.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.45% to 10.46, while USD/MAD fell 0.26% to 9.21.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.64% at 99.34.
