Saudi Arabia stocks lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 1.18%
Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities , Insurance and Cement sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 1.18% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Arabia Refineries Co. (TADAWUL: 2030 ), which rose 4.38% or 2.90 points to trade at 69.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Perfect Presentation for Commercial Services Company PJSC (TADAWUL: 7204 ) added 3.37% or 0.38 points to end at 11.66 and SHL Financing Company SJSC (TADAWUL: 1183 ) was up 2.22% or 0.44 points to 20.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were National Gypsum Company (TADAWUL: 2090 ), which fell 4.76% or 1.02 points to trade at 20.40 at the close. International Company for Water and Power Projects (ACWA Power) (TADAWUL: 2082 ) declined 4.40% or 12.60 points to end at 274.00 and Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL: 8230 ) was down 4.17% or 5.00 points to 115.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 254 to 65 and 12 ended unchanged.
Shares in International Company for Water and Power Projects (ACWA Power) (TADAWUL: 2082 ) fell to 52-week lows; down 4.40% or 12.60 to 274.00. Shares in Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL: 8230 ) fell to 52-week lows; losing 4.17% or 5.00 to 115.00.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 1.32% or 0.82 to $62.85 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.18% or 0.77 to hit $66.15 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.54% or 17.64 to trade at $3,302.24 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.37% to 4.25, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.44% at 99.54.
