Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 1.73%
Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Oil & Gas , Healthcare and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 1.73%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CSE: GMAB ), which rose 1.64% or 22.50 points to trade at 1,397.50 at the close. Meanwhile, ISS A/S (CSE: ISS ) added 1.50% or 2.60 points to end at 176.50 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE: CARLb ) was up 0.62% or 5.80 points to 944.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE: VWS ), which fell 6.26% or 6.80 points to trade at 101.10 at the close. Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE: ZELA ) declined 5.97% or 25.70 points to end at 404.50 and Demant A/S (CSE: DEMANT ) was down 2.90% or 7.80 points to 261.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 91 to 38 and 17 ended unchanged.
Shares in ISS A/S (CSE: ISS ) rose to 5-year highs; rising 1.50% or 2.60 to 176.50.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.06% or 0.65 to $60.92 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.09% or 0.71 to hit $64.20 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.61% or 20.30 to trade at $3,293.20 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.40% to 6.61, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.34% at 99.77.
