Saudi Arabia stocks lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 1.02%
Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Petrochemicals , Media & Publishing and Telecoms & IT sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 1.02% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi RE Cooperative Reinsurance (TADAWUL: 8200 ), which rose 3.70% or 1.75 points to trade at 49.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL: 8230 ) added 3.65% or 4.20 points to end at 119.20 and Umm Al-Qura (TADAWUL: 3005 ) was up 3.42% or 0.58 points to 17.54 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were SHL Financing Company SJSC (TADAWUL: 1183 ), which fell 4.93% or 1.00 points to trade at 19.30 at the close. Al Etihad Cooperative Insurance Co SJSC (TADAWUL: 8170 ) declined 3.86% or 0.54 points to end at 13.44 and Saudi Aramco (TADAWUL: 2222 ) was down 3.64% or 0.95 points to 25.15.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 214 to 106 and 18 ended unchanged.
Shares in Al Etihad Cooperative Insurance Co SJSC (TADAWUL: 8170 ) fell to 52-week lows; down 3.86% or 0.54 to 13.44.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.49% or 0.92 to $60.65 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.48% or 0.96 to hit $63.95 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.30% or 10.09 to trade at $3,303.41 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.31% to 4.24, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.30% at 99.73.
