Colombia stocks lower at close of trade; COLCAP down 0.50%
Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Financials , Investment and Public Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.50%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Etb (BVC: ETB ), which rose 7.55% or 4.00 points to trade at 57.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Mineros SA (BVC: MAS ) added 3.64% or 260.00 points to end at 7,400.00 and Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (BVC: BVC ) was up 2.30% or 280.00 points to 12,460.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bancolombia Pf (BVC: BIC_p1 ), which fell 3.82% or 1,700.00 points to trade at 42,800.00 at the close. Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA Pref (BVC: GAA_p ) declined 2.35% or 14.00 points to end at 582.00 and Canacol Energy Ltd (BVC: CNE ) was down 2.12% or 180.00 points to 8,320.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.
Shares in Mineros SA (BVC: MAS ) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 3.64% or 260.00 to 7,400.00. Shares in Canacol Energy Ltd (BVC: CNE ) fell to all time lows; losing 2.12% or 180.00 to 8,320.00.
US coffee C for July delivery was down 2.51% or 9.30 to $361.00 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in July fell 4.08% or 437.00 to hit $10,282.00 , while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.56% or 18.50 to trade at $3,295.00 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.01% to 4,179.75, while BRL/COP rose 0.01% to 734.19.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.40% at 99.84.
