Italy stocks higher at close of trade; Investing.com Italy 40 up 1.32%
Investing.com – Italy stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Technology , Industrials and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Milan, the Investing.com Italy 40 added 1.32%.
The best performers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were Stellantis NV (BIT: STLAM ), which rose 5.01% or 0.44 points to trade at 9.18 at the close. Meanwhile, Saipem SpA (BIT: SPMI ) added 4.59% or 0.09 points to end at 2.14 and Leonardo SpA (BIT: LDOF ) was up 3.31% or 1.70 points to 53.06 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena SpA (BIT: BMPS ), which fell 0.18% or 0.01 points to trade at 7.19 at the close. Unipol Gruppo Finanziario Spa (BIT: UNPI ) added 0.12% or 0.02 points to end at 17.00 and Italgas SpA (BIT: IG ) was up 0.21% or 0.02 points to 7.16.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Milan Stock Exchange by 417 to 115 and 35 ended unchanged.
Shares in Leonardo SpA (BIT: LDOF ) rose to all time highs; up 3.31% or 1.70 to 53.06.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.15% or 0.09 to $61.62 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.08% or 0.05 to hit $64.26 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.79% or 26.89 to trade at $3,367.61 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.13% to 1.14, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.06% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 98.92.
