Sweden stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Stockholm 30 up 1.26%
Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas , Basic Materials and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 1.26%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST: SBBb ), which rose 4.64% or 0.25 points to trade at 5.68 at the close. Meanwhile, Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST: KINVb ) added 2.67% or 2.10 points to end at 81.40 and Electrolux AB Class B (ST: ELUXb ) was up 2.53% or 1.60 points to 63.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Telia Company AB (ST: TELIA ), which rose 0.08% or 0.03 points to trade at 37.30 at the close. AstraZeneca PLC (ST: AZN ) added 0.19% or 2.50 points to end at 1,347.00 and Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST: SHBa ) was up 0.55% or 0.70 points to 128.30.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 543 to 221 and 65 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.16% or 0.10 to $61.63 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.08% or 0.05 to hit $64.26 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.80% or 27.16 to trade at $3,367.34 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.06% to 10.83, while USD/SEK unchanged 0.01% to 9.51.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 98.92.
