Finland stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Helsinki 25 up 0.96%
Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas , Consumer Services and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 gained 0.96%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Kalmar Oyj (HE: KALMAR ), which rose 4.14% or 1.22 points to trade at 30.72 at the close. Meanwhile, Outokumpu Oyj (HE: OUT1V ) added 3.11% or 0.10 points to end at 3.45 and Hiab Oyj (HE: HIAB ) was up 2.71% or 1.24 points to 46.94 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Orion Oyj B (HE: ORNBV ), which fell 0.77% or 0.45 points to trade at 58.00 at the close. Elisa Oyj (HE: ELISA ) added 0.21% or 0.10 points to end at 47.24 and UPM-Kymmene Oyj (HE: UPM ) was up 0.33% or 0.08 points to 24.67.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 127 to 40 and 20 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for August delivery was up 0.08% or 0.05 to $64.26 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in July rose 0.15% or 0.09 to hit $61.62 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.82% or 27.76 to trade at $3,366.74 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.13% to 1.14, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.06% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 98.91.
