Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 0.53%

Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Insurance , Oil & Gas and Financials sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.53% to hit a new all time high.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Harel (TASE: HARL ), which rose 2.83% or 185.00 points to trade at 6,725.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Menora Miv Hld (TASE: MMHD ) added 2.82% or 550.00 points to end at 20,080.00 and Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd (TASE: ENLT ) was up 2.78% or 181.00 points to 6,700.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Camtek Ltd (TASE: CAMT ), which fell 1.53% or 360.00 points to trade at 23,210.00 at the close. Strauss Group (TASE: STRS ) declined 1.45% or 127.00 points to end at 8,647.00 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE: TSEM ) was down 1.28% or 190.00 points to 14,620.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 249 to 200 and 89 ended unchanged.

Shares in Menora Miv Hld (TASE: MMHD ) rose to all time highs; rising 2.82% or 550.00 to 20,080.00.

Crude oil for July delivery was up 1.30% or 0.79 to $61.68 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 1.07% or 0.68 to hit $64.25 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.01% or 0.40 to trade at $3,328.70 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was down 0.81% to 3.50, while EUR/ILS fell 1.04% to 3.96.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.29% at 99.72.
